We're pleased to announce that, in collaboration with The National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA), we are presenting Precast Days: as a unique educational opportunity to provide students, specifiers, engineers and contractors (or anyone else interested in the Precast Concrete Industry) with an up-close & personal experience at a New England-based precast concrete plant.

On September 18th, Shea Concrete Products of Amesbury, MA hosted a record crowd in the training room of their new precast concrete headquarters on Haverhill Road for the fourth of their series of 2018 Technical Engineering Seminars.

Drawing a crowd of sixty-eight (68) construction, engineering, and precast professionals, Shea Concrete’s September seminar offered a full-day of technical learning from a wide-range of industry-leading speakers.

On March 28, Shea Concrete Products of Amesbury, MA again filled the training room of their brand-new precast concrete headquarters on Haverhill Road for the second of their series of 2018 Technical Engineering Seminars.

Shea Concrete Products is excited to announce our 2^nd seminar that will take place within our new headquarters facility in Amesbury, MA.  Our precast concrete headquarters has been designed with LEED certification as our main goal.  Our new headquarters facility includes a training room that will be utilized in hosting this educational seminar.  While learning the technical details of the engineered products manufactured by Shea Concrete Products, all attendees will earn 5-PDHs, be provided with lunch, have an excellent opportunity to network with other local civil engineers/contractors/specifiers, and be provided with a “hard-hat” tour of our precast concrete manufacturing facility adjacent to the headquarters facility.  There is no cost to attend this engineering seminar; seating is limited and on a first come basis!

Boston, MA - Greg Stratis has been elected as the National Precast Concrete Association’s Chairman of the Board. Stratis began his one-year term on October 1st at NPCA’s 51st Annual Convention in Austin, Texas, after serving on the board since 2011. Earlier this year, Stratis assumed his newly-appointed role as President of Shea Concrete Products headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts.

BEDFORD, NH — Over 75 members of the precast concrete and engineering industries met in Bedford, New Hampshire, for the Professional Development Day by Shea Concrete Products.

Attendees earned six Personal Development Hours over the course of the all-day seminar. They heard presentations given by numerous industry experts. The presentations’ topics ranged from the practical applications of products like GeoFoam, to the use of 3D printers in creating prototypes and visual aids for engineers.

Shea Concrete – one of New England’s largest suppliers of precast concrete products – has provided CEI Boston Construction Services with the precast concrete vault that is now part of the radiant heating system installed underneath the field at Gillette Stadium.

Shea Concrete Products recently manufactured and installed its largest Easi-Span precast building, a 40’x80’x10’ locker room, for Essex Agricultural and Technical High School. Simultaneously, a 24’x62’x9’ Easi-Set restroom and concession building was also constructed on the same site. Both structures are to be used for the school’s athletic program.

Greg Stratis Voted As NPCA Secretary/Treasurer

Manager of Shea Concrete Products Greg Stratis was recently voted Secretary/Treasurer for the National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) at the 49th Annual NPCA Convention in Montreal, Quebec. He received a unanimous vote by NPCA members.

Shea Concrete ReCon Retaining Wall Now Completed For Massachusetts Non-Profit

The property is divided into three separate walls with varying heights and widths. The largest of the three stands just under 14 feet tall and over 200 feet in length. The other two walls are both nearly 13 feet in height.

Shea's Bolt Down Barriers are MassDot Certified

On Monday, March 18th, Shea Concrete Products of Wilmington, MA delivered precast, Bolt Down Barriers to the Larz Anderson Memorial Bridge construction project at the JFK and Memorial Drive intersection in Cambridge, MA. This was the first time Shea Concrete Products delivered this new product line to a jobsite.

Lights, Camera, Action! New England’s largest precast concrete manufacturer will appear on one of America’s leading, lifestyle television series, A&E network’s ‘Flipping Boston’. Shea Concrete Products, headquartered in Wilmington, MA, will appear on ‘Flipping Boston’s’ March 16th episode.

During this episode, house flippers Peter Souhleris and Dave Seymour help one of their friends by fixing up his house and installing a brand new deck.

Shea Concrete Stresses Simplicity of Precast Concrete Stair Removal and Installation

Replacing aged concrete stairs often give homeowners headaches due to the removal process. How can something so big and bulky be uninstalled? What many homeowners see as a puzzling is usually a quick fix. Trouble is, many fail to realize this until removal is complete. “The process goes a lot smoother than people think,” said Richie Walsh, Sales Manager for Shea Concrete Products.

Shea Concrete Products earned a place on the cover of Precast Inc. magazine after winning the publication’s inaugural cover contest earlier this summer. Despite stiff competition from seven other NPCA members, Shea Concrete’s “Lynn’s Seaport Landing Marina” took the top vote. The cover contest, scheduled to be an annual event, places Shea Concrete onto the cover for this year’s November-December issue.

Shea Concrete Products Delivers Underground Stormwater Chambers to the “Acadia on the Charles” Project in Waltham, MA

On Thursday, May 23rd, Shea Concrete Products, of Wilmington, MA, delivered 33 precast concrete 8ft x 14ft Leaching Chambers to the “Acadia on the Charles” apartment project at 36 River Street in Waltham, MA. Altogether, Shea Concrete Products will deliver a total of 99 precast concrete leaching chambers to the jobsite by the end of June.
