January 6, 2025 / News & Events

Amesbury, MA – With some help from the weather and a lot of interest from industry professionals Shea Concrete hosted over 50 attendees at their latest Technical Engineering Seminar in Amesbury, MA. Shea Concrete is always looking for more ways to deliver value to the New England construction industry and bringing professionals together to learn, network, and get an in-depth look at the precast manufacturing process continues to be a winning initiative. Since starting the in-person seminar initiative 5-years ago the team at Shea Concrete continues to keep that mission alive and well.

On December 4, 2024, the doors to Shea Concrete’s Amesbury, MA headquarters opened once again to host a group of over 50 local civil engineers, contractors, specifiers, and other industry professionals. This no-cost opportunity was Shea Concrete’s 16th seminar to date, featuring a comprehensive agenda for attendees to earn Professional Credit Hours, connect with industry peers, and get an exclusive look at Shea Concrete’s Gold LEED-certified headquarters facility.

In addition to a hard-hat manufacturing plant tour the seminar attendees were treated to four 1-hour technical presentations featuring a variety of guest speakers. These seminars offer a full day of learning and networking for attendees including locally catered food to make sure nobody went home hungry.

With plans for their next Technical Engineering Seminar already in the works for early May 2025, the team at Shea Concrete is eager to keep this tradition of knowledge sharing moving forward.
