For decades, Shea Concrete Products has been producing and delivering high-quality precast concrete to customers around New England. Now, they’ve put their products to use a bit closer to home – just 200 yards from where it was made.
Shea recently completed construction on their brand new headquarters on Haverhill Road in Amesbury, MA – just a short distance from their Amesbury plant, where the precast walls and materials used in the building were produced. By using load-bearing wall panels fabricated at the Amesbury plant, Shea reduced delivery time and sped up construction time to get their new headquarters up and operational in record time.
The new Shea headquarters was officially ready for occupancy by December 2017, and Shea even held their first technical training seminar just a few weeks into 2018 which drew full attendance. With the new headquarters up and occupied, Shea is looking forward to seeing more projects utilize the same precast resources they’ve used in the space they now call home.
